Michael Orozco has been a trial attorney for many years, and brings his vast knowledge of both civil law and criminal law into each client's representation. As a Civil Lawyer, a significant portion of his efforts are focused on Personal Injury Actions and Commercial/Contract disputes. As a criminal defense lawyer, he focuses his efforts in the defense of clients charged with violating the criminal law and the motor vehicle laws of New York and New Jersey. Among the benefits that Mr. Orozco brings to the representation of all of his clients, is his ability to speak fluent Spanish, Portuguese and Italian. When a client has difficulty speaking in English, this allows Mr. Orozco to speak directly to his clients in their native language. This provides his clients with the benefit of having a lawyer who understands both the legal issues needed to represent them; and, the ability to understand his clients without having to speak through another person acting as a translator. This ensures that clients who have problems speaking English can explain their wishes directly Mr. Orozco in a manner they are comfortable with.
Among the other areas that Mr. Orozco brings his talents to as a Civil Lawyer, are Commercial Litigation, Social Security Disability Applications, and Corporate Formation and Representation.
Mr. Orozco is admitted to both the New Jersey and the New York State Bars; the District Court for the State of New Jersey; the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois; the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York, and; The US Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
